Adopted October 8, 2003 by the Delegates to the London and District Labour Council.

WHEREAS, The members of Local 279 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada have a right to the process and benefits of collective bargaining enjoyed by other workers; and

WHEREAS, These professional members of our Labour community deserve to be treated with dignity and respect; and

WHEREAS, Rogers Communications Inc. has a responsibility under the Federal Status of the Artist Act to negotiate in good faith; be it

RESOLVED, That the London and District Labour Council pledge its full membership support of AFM Local 279's campaign to achieve a first-time scale agreement with Rogers Communications Inc.
