Re: Your fax of Wed Sept 17, 2003
Dear Ms. Warren
Thank
you for your fax of Wednsday September 17, 2003. I felt it
was important to respond to you today.
Your fax,
which expresses a willingness to meet with us in London is
a positive development. I have been informed however that
Fridays are not the best days of the week for our officers
to meet as they are full-time musicians.
I must
inform you that we have made a decision to deny your request
at this time. Should the circumstances surrounding the reasons
for filing our complaint change, we are prepared to reconsider
our decision. It is our sincere hope that newly scheduled
negotiating meetings will foster a much more respectful and
trusting relationship between the parties.
We feel
that the best approach at this time would be to firmly establish
and confirm the following: The date and time we will meet;
the specific location of the meeting; and the names and titles
of the participants at that meeting. We would be pleased to
work cooperatively in facilitating these requests.
The LMA
had carefully prepared an opening proposal which is available
at www.deartedrogers.com.
To date, there has been no response to our proposal from Rogers.
An appropriate response to that document would be appreciated
in advance of our next meeting.
I look
forward to your reply.
Sincerely,
Jeremy
